As a retired couple, my wife Martha and I live in a small town in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. This year we have been married for 45 years and we are still in love like teenagers.

From early in the morning I work on my online business. Writing articles for my blogs, creating social media posts and creating videos for my YouTube channel.

I mostly like the technical stuff and help my clients to create their websites, membership sites and affiliate programs.

Creating list building funnels with Systeme.io gives me great pleasure as well as setting up sales funnels for my clients.

After school, Martha looks after our twin 7 year old granddaughters Engela and Anria. It is a pleasure to see your grandchildren each day while our children work in the business.

The Birth of Our Business

Martha and I started our own computer business, M&M Computers CC in 1993. Our children took over the management in 2007.

My eldest son Paul, a system analist, is the general manager. He design networks for the clients, set it up and maintain the servers.

His brother Stefan is responsible for the bookkeeping, appointments, inventory, orders and quotes. He handles all the money matters and we gave him the nickname Banka because you go to him if you need money.

He is the youngest but even from a young age he saved his money and always had money to share with others.

Their sister Sorita, mother of the twins, is a graphic designer and is manager of the design printing and department. They print more than 60,000 pages per month of broshures, posters and photos.

Sorita's husband, Rihan is responsible for the maintenance of all the equipment and does repairs for customers. He previously had his own cellphone and repair business.

Losing a Child

Unfortunately we lost our eldest daughter in a hit-and-run accident in 2003 when she was an architect student in Johannesburg. She was nearly 21 years of age.

It was a hard knock for us all but brought the whole family together. It still surprises me to see our children working together so well.

From a small beginning with just my wife and I, the business grew to an enterprise with seven employees. I am still involved with the marketing since 2020 when Covid hit and people had to do their buying of computers and other electronics online.

Today it is emperitive that all businesses should have an online presence if they want to survive in the long run. I have helped many of my business friends to computerize and to bring their businesses online.

My Passion in Life

I specialize in QR coding of products and even services and found that you can automate your systems so much easier.

It also allows your customers to easily obtain more information about your products by just scanning the QR code with their smartphone.
